Fuel Filter 97 Chevy Blazer?

I was needing to change my fuel filter and I was wandering if someone could tell me where its located and how to take it off. I have a 97 Chevy Blazer 2 door, 4 wheel drive. Fuel Filter 97 Chevy Blazer?it should be along the frame, on the driver,s side back by the back tire. i believe it take that special tool to get the clips off.Fuel Filter 97 Chevy Blazer?it SHOULD be located inside of the left framerail about midway back. it has been a while since i have tooled on a blazer, but im pretty sure its correct. also, its mounted with tapered thread hex head fittings so your standard run of the mill wrenches should do the trick. first clean the area around the filter, the filter itself, and the fittings screwed into it. when you loosen the fuel line to change the filter, there might be residual pressure in the line, so be extremely careful!! now. remove both fittings (after cleaning the outside of the filter and fittings, and noting the orientation/direction of the filter), slide the filter out of its mounting bracket, and replacement is opposite of removal.Fuel Filter 97 Chevy Blazer?Drivers side right next to the frame rail and gas tank.
